  • Role

    To control and manage administrative and other assigned functions for the EVP/COO and SVPs.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide confidential administrative support to the EVP/COO, and SVPs. Composes letters and memoranda from dictation, verbal direction or from knowledge of organization policy or procedures; edit written communications from word processing documents; develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.

    • Provide administrative support to the ALCO Committee and IS Steering Committee including preparing packets and taking meeting minutes. Collect, analyze and prepare information and presentations for the EVP/COO and SVPs in discussions and meetings with other credit union managers, associates and outside individiuals.

    • Screen incoming mail, publications, and other correspondence.                                                         

    • Assist and coordinate Requests Lists for internal and external audits and exams.                                              

    • Assist the EVP/COO and SVPs with daily appointment calendar; travel and lodging arrangements as required.

    • Review and answer mail and inquiries on own initiative to determine within established guidelines if executive action is required. Refer routine matters to appropriate parties for action and follow up to ensure proper disposition.

    • Prepare or assist in the preparation of assigned reports, including the monthly Branch Transaction Report.                                  

    • Collect and prepare information for the EVP/COO and SVPs to use in discussions and meetings with other credit union managers, employees and outside individuals

    • Perform other duties as assigned.                                                                                                                                                                   

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Experience: A typical background for obtaining the requisite knowledge, abilities and experience is  at least ten years of similar or related experience along with the required education.
    • Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with members of the, Executive Team leaders, business leaders, and internal managers. 
    • Other Skills:  Excellent organizational and editing skills; typing skills of 75 wpm or above with complete accuracy; expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint), shorthand a plus.
