As our Leave & Benefits Administrator, you'll serve as a trusted resource for team members and leaders by administering leave of absence and benefit programs with accuracy, empathy, and care. You'll help employees navigate important life events while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, partnering closely with managers, payroll, benefit providers, and third-party administrators to create a seamless experience.

What You'll Be Doing
Administer and coordinate leave of absence programs, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA accommodations, Pregnancy Disability Leave, workers' compensation, disability, and personal leaves.
Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, managers, third-party administrators, and benefit vendors throughout the leave process.
Guide team members through benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and benefit-related questions with professionalism and care.
Coordinate the interactive process, workplace accommodations, benefit continuation, and return-to-work activities while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate HRIS records, personnel files, leave documentation, and benefits information while protecting confidential employee data.
Partner with Payroll, managers, benefit providers, and external vendors to ensure timely processing of employee transactions and accurate recordkeeping.
Prepare reports, support audits, and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with employment laws, benefit regulations, and internal policies.
Support onboarding activities, employment verifications, HR communications, and other operational initiatives that contribute to a positive employee experience.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, strengthen compliance, and enhance the efficiency of leave and benefits administration.
Deliver exceptional service by building trusted relationships and providing timely, accurate guidance to employees and leaders.
Provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, including maintaining HR records, organizational charts, phone directories, HRIS updates, onboarding and offboarding documentation, employment verifications, and internal communications.
What You'll Bring
Experience
Three to five years of experience administering leave of absence programs, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA accommodations, Pregnancy Disability Leave, workers' compensation, disability, and other protected leaves.
Two to five years of Human Resources administrative experience supporting benefits administration, compliance, employee records, and HR operations.
Working knowledge of federal and California employment laws related to leave administration and employee benefits.
Experience supporting benefits enrollment, HRIS administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of leave of absence administration, benefits administration, HR compliance, and employment regulations.
Ability to interpret leave policies and regulatory requirements while exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills with the ability to support employees through sensitive and complex situations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working with HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, Paycor, or similar systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
Ability to collaborate effectively with managers, Payroll, benefit vendors, third-party administrators, and external partners.
