Reporting directly to the financial advisors, the part time financial advisor assistant is responsible for providing
administrative and operational support in a fast-paced financial planning environment. The ideal candidate is
interested in earning their securities licenses and pursuing a career in financial services. This role allows you to grow
in an environment where you can learn new skills, help people, and make a significant contribution to the team
without the typical pressure from sales or prospecting activities.
Responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of a small Credit Union facility (usually up to 5 people); ensuring the branch meets or exceeds all sales and service goals designated within the Branch Manager's scorecard and that established policies and procedures are followed. Oversee provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members. Ensure that members are promptly and professionally served. Train, direct, and supervise branch staff.
Delivers on Southland’s core purpose by helping give the Credit Union a financial edge by solidifying and nurturing relationships with the credit union’s select employer groups (SEGs). Accountable for contributing to the Credit Union's success through Member Acquisition and Loan Growth that positions the Credit Union as the financial institution of choice for retail/financial customers in the Credit Union's markets.
This entry-level position performs assigned Teller tasks associated with the processing of member transactions such as receiving and disbursing funds, posting deposits, loan payments and processing mail transactions as required. Reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager, the BSR position is accountable for meeting or exceeding pre-established Sales & Service Goals.
